I think I need to blog this time. I would like to highlight of the PHOS fellowship sharing shared by Rev. Augustine last saturday night regard to LOVE. To those who missed it unintentionally or didn't attend last saturday fellowship, please spare a minute to read this.

It was a simple night yet it was a meaningful and enriching night. If you guys think that the night sharing about LOVE was boring and predicted, I think you all are greatly wrong. It was a very practical for us. (I might miss out something, only those who were there will miss nothing)

Phileo, known as brotherly love. It is important in our daily relationship with our brothers, sisters and friends. When we able to love our friends with philoe love, we will willing to laydown our life for them (note: not neccesary to die, i mean is to assist, support, help and stand-up our friends when he or she having difficulties) and never leave them alone. Just like David and Jonanthan. Jonanthan saved David life though Jonanthan 's father intend to kill David.

Eros, known as romantic love. Haha, i think you guys will be interested. Without brotherly or sisterly love, we can't love somebody in this level who we deeply loved for someone. This type of love requires our commitment, time, effoert, to be more other centered (not self centered), be more sensitive (aware of other needs), be quick to say sorry (though u might not done something wrong) and lastly learn from our mistake. Just like Jacob and Rachel. Jacob willing to worked for 14 years to marry Rachel. I think most of us will assumed that Jacob was so foolish for patiently waited and put so much effort to be with Rachel. You are wrong, this is call love where we need to willing sacrifice ourselves for other partner. If you had a lover now, please reflect a bit laaa, if need to change, please do so...

Agape, known as divine love. God so love us that He gave Jesus for all us and redeem us from eternal condermnation. God truly and completely loves us till the point willing to sacrifice His only Son. Hence, in response, we should love the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul. We can only love the Lord if we willing to give and surrender ourselves to the Lord. Like Joseph who put his love, trust and faith in the Lord despite he was sent to the dungeon. In summary, we should learn to give out ourselves and give in for God.

Again I need to strong emphesy that love is start with God. Love is a life long process amd learning, therefore don't be impatient.

L: live for others
O: obedience to the Lord
V: vulnerability, be open to the Lord
E: everyday practice it
