My 1st EMC meeting
let me share a bit of my experience about my first EMC meeting yesterday night...
First of all, Pastor told us that this meeting was the first ever time where the yesterday (old, consist of David, Thomas and Vincent) and the tomorrow (new) EMC members...This term of EMC member consist of more new faces or the first timer and two retain who sit in the EMC...it consist of me myself, Uncle Nick, Captian Priscal, Felishia, Uncle Yeoh, Douglas, Pastor, Mei Ling, Captain Mah, uncle Kok Sing and Uncle Richard...Hahaha, good mixture of ages lei...
The meeting started at 8.45pm though it set on 8.30pm and ended quite early about 11.30pm...If the meeting start on time, I think this meeting will be ended much earlier...That's why I always enforce and encourage all the youth to adopt good attitude of punctuality in any event...it's shows that you are honoring and respecting the event or meeting....We discussed few issues, Uncle Vincent tried to explain the Church structure to us...Wauu...This is my first time ever knew about the actual structure of Holy Light Lutheran Church...That's new to me...Nothing much special after that, move to elect of 4 EMC members to sit in the CC...To tell those who absent, there is a supprise...You will know when you come back...that's why any first meeting you ought not to choose not to attend...
Move to important thing regards to the World Teach fee...EMC decided that the subsidy of RM 25 will be granted to only internal youth, BB and GB...that means you only need to pay RM25...to those who invited their friends and to those church members who intent to join us, it is sad to tell you that they have to pay full amount of RM50...Please register yourself to your respective leaders...Hope you will quickly register yourself cause I need to specific number, hence I will know what amount to request from EMC...Remember, lunch is provide...
nontheless, the meeting is great and i very look after to it...Hope you all will continue to support me as your youth leader...thanks...
