Psalm 23
The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pasture; He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul; He lead me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For you are with me Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enermies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercyshall follow me all teh days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord FOREVER...
This is what Douglas shared for the night. Ask him about the contend of sharing.....

sharing
This home is situated at Kajang...This home is manage and coordinate by Mr Goh who just accepted Christ last Easter...
Pastor Ling is the pastor of the home...
This home is not a home meant for rich family who sent by their children but rather those who have no place to go...most of them are still single and some of them are here because their family members failed to support them...
So I took this opportunity to asked Mr Goh, how are they survive in terms of financially, because the old folks need nutrinous food, high calcium milk, high medical cost, utilities expenses and misc expenses...
to tell you frankly, this home income merely come from Pastor Ling help and also Mr Goh effort to find some donations from the public...i felt very surprise when Mr Goh told me that LCMS did very minimum to support them...they only have just sufficient or sometimes fail to raise any money...I think we as PHOS youth will do something for them (let me discuss with Richard)
There are 23 old folks staying in 2 different teras house...1 for male and the other for female...To tell you all, they are quite old and most of them having sickness...Some suffer from diabetis, 1 is blind, and many have difficulties in movement.
Personally, I felt so touch by the joyfulness of the old folks...when they knew we are going to visit them, they patiently waited for us since morning...some even have movement difficulties yet they willing to take effort to walk across a distance to meet us...i can see their joy when we were there...they love the food which we had prepared...they enjoy a lot...
It is very lonely for an old folks staying in the old folks home...so please, every PHOS youth, please cherish and apprecaite and love and obey your parents with all your heart and all you soul...please dont everytime complain and complain against them...

...BE PATIENT AND LOVE THEM...

Wauu...I amazed that this older Phos really grow and grow in number...I really love that very much, I think most of the leaders will have the same feeling right...

by the way, Doug shared about the "cat and dog theory"...do you all still remember what this theory talk about???

to be a CHRISTIAN DOG: The Master who serve him, love him, feed him and protect him, he will acknowledege the Master as his God.
1st question: why do a DOG want to go to heaven???
answer: to be with his Master

to be a CHRISTIAN CAT: The Mater who serve him, love him, feed him, and protect him, he will assume that he is god (to be served)
1st question: why do a CAT want to go to heaven???
answer: to escape from hell

hahhahaaa...can u see the two major different between this two characteristic (gratitude, god-centered and selfishness, man-centered)...so are you a CAT or DOG??? answer yourself loo...

see u next gathering...
